These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of freestylemagician.com, to enquiries made through this website, and to bookings for entertainment services supplied by Alexander Welsh, trading as Freestyle Magician. Specific details agreed in a quotation, email correspondence, booking confirmation or a written agreement form part of the arrangement for that booking. Where a specific written booking agreement clearly differs from these general website terms, the specifically agreed booking terms should govern that booking, subject to applicable law.

Alexander WelshSubmitting an enquiry through this website does not automatically create a booking, does not guarantee availability, and does not reserve a date.
A booking is only confirmed once the booking details have been agreed, the required deposit has been received, and confirmation has been issued.
A 50% deposit is required to secure a booking date. The date should not be treated as reserved until that deposit has been received and the booking has been confirmed.
The remaining 50% balance is due two weeks before the event.
Payment details, and any currency-specific information, will be supplied with the quotation or booking confirmation.
Prices are not published on this website, as they vary depending on the event, location, duration, travel requirements and the service agreed. The quotation supplied to the customer governs the price for that booking.
The agreed event date, venue, approximate performance time, duration and nature of the performance will normally be confirmed as part of the quotation and booking correspondence.
Freestyle Magician provides close-up entertainment, which may include close-up magic, mind reading, interactive magic and pickpocket-style entertainment. Any pickpocket-style entertainment is performed purely as entertainment, and any item borrowed or temporarily removed during the performance is returned.
Specific tricks or effects are not guaranteed, as a performance is adapted to the guests and the occasion on the day.
Clients should provide reasonably accurate event timings when booking. Wedding and event schedules can naturally move slightly, and reasonable flexibility is offered where practical.
However, substantial delays or significant changes to the agreed schedule may affect the amount or timing of the performance where Alexander Welsh has another booking, travel commitments, venue restrictions, or other unavoidable scheduling constraints.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the venue permits the entertainment, that suitable access is available, that any necessary venue permissions have been obtained, and that relevant event information is provided in advance where reasonably required.
Because the service is primarily close-up magic, no stage or microphone is normally required, unless something different has specifically been agreed.
Freestyle Magician performs at events in the UK, Spain and other locations by agreement. Any travel or accommodation arrangements that affect the price will be communicated as part of the quotation or booking agreement.
If the customer wishes to cancel a confirmed booking, they should notify Freestyle Magician in writing as soon as possible at alexfreestylemagician@gmail.com.
Any treatment of the deposit, outstanding balance or other sums paid will be governed by the specific quotation or booking agreement, any cancellation terms expressly agreed at the time of booking, and applicable consumer law.
Requests to change the event date will be considered subject to availability. Freestyle Magician will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new date, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
Any price difference, travel difference, additional costs, or treatment of amounts already paid will be agreed in writing when the change is requested.
Consumer contracts normally benefit from rights under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to distance contracts. Where applicable, a booking for entertainment services to be provided on a specific event date may fall within an exception to the statutory cooling-off or withdrawal right that would otherwise apply to certain distance contracts.
Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory consumer rights that legally apply.
If Alexander Welsh is unable to perform because of exceptional circumstances such as serious illness, accident, travel disruption, or other events outside reasonable control, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.
Where Freestyle Magician cancels and cannot provide the contracted service, amounts paid for the affected service will be refunded, unless an alternative arrangement acceptable to the customer is agreed. Reasonable efforts may be made to help identify an alternative performer where appropriate, although this cannot be guaranteed.
Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances genuinely outside reasonable control, such as severe weather, transport cancellation, government restrictions, venue closure, or serious illness or emergency.
Both parties should communicate promptly and reasonably if such circumstances affect a booking. Any rescheduling or refund outcome will be determined according to the circumstances, the booking agreement and applicable law.
Alexander Welsh may stop or modify a performance where there is a genuine safety issue, including threatening behaviour, violence, serious harassment, or unsafe venue conditions.
This is intended to cover genuine safety concerns, not the ordinary high spirits of a wedding or event.
Photography or video may be taken at events by the client, guests, photographers or videographers. Freestyle Magician does not automatically claim rights to use this content.
Any separate use of identifiable customer imagery by Freestyle Magician for marketing purposes will be subject to appropriate permission or another lawful basis.
Content on this website, including text, branding, original graphics, and photographs or videos owned by Freestyle Magician, may be protected by intellectual property rights. Visitors should not reproduce substantial parts of this website’s content commercially without permission.
Reasonable efforts are made to keep information on this website accurate. However, availability and prices may change, and page content may be updated from time to time. Website content does not itself guarantee availability. A specific written quotation or booking confirmation governs an individual booking.
